BOOKING CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Please read carefully the booking and cancellation conditions below. Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for the person making the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned therein, including minors. In these booking and cancellation conditions, the terms “you”, “your”, “your” refer to all the names indicated in the booking (including names added or replaced at a later time). “We” and “our” refer to Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza. The term “Suppliers” refers to any third party that can provide transport services, hôtellerie or any other service directly contracted with you.

RESERVATION

Confirmation of booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the aforementioned confirmation data and to notify us of any anomalies as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 4 days from its receipt. After this deadline we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.

Upon arrival at the facility, it is mandatory to present an identification document for each person (eg identity card, passport, driving license, etc. ..).

To make any changes to your booking you need to contact the reception staff, who will do everything possible to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee that this request will be fulfilled. If the booking is moved to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is required to pay the difference.

BOOKING VIA EMAIL OR CONTACT FORM
It is possible to book by sending an email request to tenutachianchizza@gmail.com or through the contact form in the contact menu of our site and wait for our response.

Following the request via email or contact form, a non-binding offer will be sent to you. The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication and after the payment of a confirmatory deposit of € 100 per room booked, to be made within 3 days of our confirmation. If the payment of the confirmatory deposit is not made within the requested time, the reservation is to be considered canceled.

The reservation by email or contact form becomes binding for Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza only upon receipt of the confirmatory deposit by bank transfer or PayPal.
To speed up the procedure, in case of payment by bank transfer, it is possible to send an accounting copy of the payment via email to tenutachianchizza@gmail.com.
For payments via PayPal, payment is received immediately and confirmation is provided by the payment confirmation email sent by PayPal.

Direct booking through our website becomes binding for Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza when there is confirmation of payment by PayPal.

PAYMENT

To complete the booking process, payment must be made using a credit card or a PayPal account, if it is made through our website, or a confirmatory deposit must be paid by bank transfer or PayPal in the case of a booking via email or contact form. In the absence of one of the two payment options, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to confirm the reservation.

Any extra costs (eg lunches, dinners, etc.) must be paid before departure.

PRE-AUTHORIZATION
For bookings received via email, contact form or website, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza does not use the pre-authorization service for electronic payments, therefore the stay booked through its website must be paid for in full, with credit card or PayPal, at the time of booking.

As regards reservations received through other portals (eg Booking.com, Expedia.com, etc.), Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza uses the pre-authorization service managed directly by the aforementioned portals, in compliance with the new European PSD2 regulation. of 13 January 2018, thus guaranteeing maximum security in the management of sensitive customer data.

PAYMENT IN ADVANCE FROM THE INTERNT SITE BY CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL
When booking from the website, the entire amount of the reservation is charged to the credit card or PayPal account.
The full amount of the reservation is refundable.
The cancellation of the reservation is free up to 3 days before arrival.
The full amount of the reservation will not be refunded if you cancel within 3 days before arrival.
If you do not show up, the full amount of the reservation will not be refunded.

PAYMENT OF THE CONFIRMATORY DEPOSIT BY BANK TRANSFER OR PAYPAL

RESERVATION EXTENSION
Reservation extensions are permitted and are subject to availability and any rate changes.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation of booking must be communicated by email or telephone.
For the cancellation conditions refer exclusively to our website.
The full amount of the reservation or the confirmatory deposit is refundable.
Cancellation is free up to 3 days before arrival.
The full amount of the reservation or confirmatory deposit will not be refunded if you cancel within 3 days before arrival.
If you do not show up, the full amount of the reservation or confirmatory deposit will not be refunded.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
In case of cancellation or changes made up to 3 days before the date of arrival, no cost will be charged.
In case of cancellation after this deadline, you are not entitled to any refund.

NO SHOW
If you do not show up, the full amount of the reservation or the confirmatory deposit will not be refunded.

EARLY DEPARTURES
Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to make any refunds to the guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore a penalty equal to 100% of the entire stay will be charged.

CAUSES OF FORCE MAJEURE

Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza, declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental equipment failures or other causes of force majeure. We decline all responsibility for damage caused by other guests, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and theft.
Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to make any type of refund in case of cancellation after the deadline due to force majeure, not attributable to the will of the customer, such as: atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases, cancellation of flights, cancellation of trains, road traffic problems, public transport strikes and any other reasons.

SPECIAL REQUESTS AND HEALTH PROBLEMS

Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. While we will endeavor to accommodate you in all requests, as long as these are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that every request will be met. We will not be able to accept bookings in which a particular condition of fulfillment of a special request is specified. All bookings will be treated as “standard” bookings subject to the above provisions of special requests.

In case of health problems or disabilities that could affect the course of your holiday, please let us know before confirming your booking. If we reasonably believe that we cannot meet the particular needs you have indicated, we will reserve the right to decline your booking or, if this information is not received at the time of booking, it will not subsequently be taken into consideration.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

You are responsible for all travel documents and vouchers. You will not be reimbursed if, due to travel documents not in order, you are unable to make or complete the stay and we will not be responsible for the additional costs that you may incur as a result.

TOURIST TAX

The tourist tax, is a local tax applied to the people who stay in accommodation facilities in areas classified as tourist resorts or cities of art.

In the event that the tourist tax is not included in the price of the stay, it must be paid on departure.

A supplement of € 1.00 per person per night is applied (excluding children under 12).

The following are exempt from paying the tourist tax:

  • Persons declared disabled pursuant to Law 104/1992 who require permanent assistance;
  • Minors up to the age of 12;
  • Subjects who stay at the accommodation facilities to which they work.

The application of the exemption is subject to the presentation by the interested party to the manager of the accommodation facility of the appropriate declaration, made on the basis of the provisions of Presidential Decree 445/2000, in which the corresponding status must be specified.
