
BOOKING CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Please read the booking and cancellation conditions below carefully. Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for those who make the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned in the same, including minors. In these booking and cancellation conditions, the terms “you”, “your”, “your” refer to all names indicated in the reservation (including names added or replaced at a later time). “We” and “our” refer to Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza. The term “Suppliers” refers to any third party that can provide transport services, hotel services or any other service directly contracted with you.
RESERVATION
Confirmation of booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the aforementioned confirmation data and to notify us of any anomaly as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 3 days from receipt of the same. After this term we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.
Upon arrival at the facility, it is mandatory to present an identification document for each person (e.g. identity card, passport, driving license).
To make changes to your reservation you must contact the reception staff, who will do their best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of this request. In case of moving the reservation to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is required to pay the difference.
BOOKING BY EMAIL OR CONTACT FORM
It is possible to book by sending an email request to [email protected] or through the contact form in the contact menu of our site and wait for our reply.
Following your request via email or contact form, you will be sent a non-binding offer. The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication and after the payment of a deposit of 100 € per room booked, to be made within 3 days of our confirmation. If the payment of the deposit is not made within the required time, the reservation is to be considered cancelled.
The reservation by email or contact form becomes binding for Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza only upon receipt of the confirmatory deposit by bank transfer or credit card.
To speed up the procedure, in case of payment by bank transfer, it is possible to send an accounting copy of the payment via email to the address [email protected]
For payments by credit card, payment is received immediately and confirmation is provided by the payment confirmation email sent automatically by the system.

Direct booking through our website becomes binding for Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza when there is confirmation of payment by the system.
PAYMENT
To complete the booking process, you must provide your credit card details, if this is done through our website, or pay a confirmation deposit by bank transfer or credit card in case of booking via email or contact form. In the absence of one of the two payment options, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to confirm the reservation.
Any extra costs (e.g. lunches, dinners, etc.) must be paid in the structure before departure.

PRE-AUTHORIZATION
For bookings received through its website, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza makes use of the pre-authorization service for electronic payments called inReception Pay, in compliance with the European regulation PSD2 of 13 January 2018 and guaranteeing maximum security in the management of sensitive customer data.
Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza, as regards reservations received through other portals (e.g. Booking, Expedia, Airbnb), makes use of the pre-authorization service managed directly by the aforementioned portals, in compliance with the new European regulation PSD2 of 13 January 2018, thus ensuring maximum security in the management of sensitive customer data.
PAYMENT IN ADVANCE FROM THE WEBSITE BY CREDIT CARD
When booking from the website, no amount is charged to the credit card.
The full amount of the stay will be pre-authorized 10 days before arrival.
The advance payment of the entire amount of the stay is required 7 days before arrival.
The full amount of the reservation is refundable.
The cancellation of the reservation is free up to 7 days before arrival.
The full amount of the reservation will not be refunded if you cancel within 7 days before arrival.
If you don’t show up, the full amount of the reservation will not be refunded.
PAYMENT OF THE DEPOSIT BY BANK TRANSFER OR CREDIT CARD
Following the booking request by telephone, email or contact form, a fee of €100 per room will be paid by bank transfer or credit card.
The entire amount of the confirmatory deposit is refundable.
The cancellation of the reservation is free up to 7 days before arrival.
The full amount of the deposit will not be refunded if you cancel within 7 days before arrival.
If you don’t show up, the entire amount of the confirmatory deposit will not be refunded.
EXTENSION OF BOOKING
The extension of the reservation is permitted and is subject to availability and any rate changes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation of reservation must be communicated via email or telephone.
For the cancellation conditions, refer exclusively to our website.
The entire amount of the reservation or the confirmatory deposit is refundable within the established limits.
Cancellation is free up to 7 days before arrival.
The full amount of the reservation or the deposit will not be refunded if you cancel within 7 days before arrival.
If you don’t show up, the entire amount of the reservation or the deposit will not be refunded.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
In case of cancellation or modifications made up to 7 days before the date of arrival, no cost will be charged.
In case of cancellation made after this deadline, you are not entitled to any refund.
NO SHOW
If you don’t show up, the entire amount of the reservation or the deposit will not be refunded.
EARLY DEPARTURES
Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to refund any guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore a penalty equal to 100% of the entire stay will be charged.
CAUSES OF FORCE MAJEURE
Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza, declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental breakdowns of the equipment or other causes of force majeure. We decline all responsibility for damage caused by other guests, atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and thefts.
Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza, reserves the right not to make any type of refund in case of cancellation beyond the deadlines due to force majeure, not attributable to the will of the customer, such as: atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases, cancellation of flights, train cancellations, road traffic problems, public transport strikes and any other reason.
SPECIAL REQUESTS AND HEALTH PROBLEMS
Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. While we will endeavor to accommodate all requests, provided they are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that every request will be met. We will not be able to accept reservations in which a particular condition of fulfillment of a special request is specified. All bookings will be treated as “standard” bookings subject to the above special requests provisions.
In the event of health problems or disabilities that could affect the progress of your holiday, please notify us before confirming the booking. If we should reasonably believe that we cannot satisfy the particular needs indicated by you, we will reserve the right to decline your booking or, if such information does not arrive at the time of booking, it will not be taken into consideration subsequently.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
You are responsible for all travel documents and vouchers. You will not be reimbursed if, due to non-compliant travel documents, you are unable to carry out or complete the stay itself and we will not be responsible for any additional costs you may incur as a result.

TOURIST TAX
The tourist tax, also known as tourist tax, is a local tax applied to people staying in accommodation facilities in territories classified as tourist resorts or cities of art.
In the event that the tourist tax is not included in the price of the stay, it must be paid upon departure.
A supplement of €1.00 per person per night is applied (excluding children under 12).
The following are exempt from paying the tourist tax:
- Persons declared disabled pursuant to Law 104/1992 who require permanent assistance;
- Minors up to the age of twelve;
- Persons who stay in the accommodation facilities for which they work.
The application of the exemption is subject to the presentation to the manager of the accommodation facility, by the interested party, of the appropriate declaration, made on the basis of the provisions of Presidential Decree 445/2000, in which the corresponding status must be specified.
