Booking Conditions & Cancellation Policy

Please read the booking rules below carefully. Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for the person making the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned therein, including minors. In these Booking Conditions the terms “you”, “your”, “your” refer to all the names indicated in the booking (including names added or replaced at a later time). “We” and “our” refer to Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza. The term “Suppliers” refers to any third party that can provide transport services, hôtellerie or any other service directly contracted with you.

  1. Reservation

It is possible to send an email request to or through the contact form in the contact menu of our site and wait for our response.

Alternatively, you can book online by clicking on the “BOOK NOW BOOK NOW” button which refers to the following page (, booking and paying for your stay in total autonomy.

Following the request via email or contact form, an offer will be sent to you (non-binding). The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication showing the total price of the stay and after payment of the full amount, to be made within 3 days of our confirmation. If the payment is not made within the requested time, the reservation is considered canceled.
The reservation becomes binding for Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza only upon receipt of the payment which can be made by bank transfer or credit card.

At this point, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza will undertake to send the customer a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be shown at check-in.

Confirmation of booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the aforementioned confirmation data and to notify us of any anomalies as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 4 days from its receipt. After this deadline we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.

Upon arrival it is mandatory to present an identification document for each person (eg identity card, passport, driving license, etc. ..).

To make any changes to your booking you need to contact the reception staff, who will do everything possible to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee that this request will be fulfilled. If the booking is moved to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is required to pay the difference.

  1. Payment

To complete the booking process, payment must be made using a credit card / PayPal or a payment by bank transfer. In the absence of one of the two payment options, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to confirm the reservation.

Any extra costs (eg lunches, dinners, etc.) must be paid before departure.

Send a copy of the bank transfer receipt via email to, indicating the date of your booking, telephone number and email address. You will receive confirmation. The transfer must be made within 3 days from the booking date, taking care to send a copy of the order by email.


Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza does not use the pre-authorization service for electronic payments, therefore the stay booked through its website, email or telephone, will be paid in full at the time of booking or within the days established for the payment method choice.

As regards bookings received through other portals (eg,, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza uses the pre-authorization service managed directly by the portals, thus respecting the new European PSD2 regulation of 13 January 2018, thus ensuring maximum security in the management of sensitive customer data.

Advance payment, “Refundable Rate Within 3 Days”

When booking online, the full amount will be charged to your credit card or requested by bank transfer. The entire amount is refundable. You will pay the full amount of the stay if you cancel within 3 days before arrival. Cancellation is free up to 3 days before arrival. If you do not show up you will pay the full amount of the stay. 

Extension of the stay

The extension of the stay is allowed and is subject to availability and any rate changes.

  1. Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation of booking must be communicated by email, telephone or through the information in the confirmation email received at the time of online booking. For the cancellation conditions please refer to your booking confirmation. Cancellation is free up to 3 days before arrival. If you do not show up you will pay the full amount of the stay. 

General conditions

• In case of cancellation or changes made up to 3 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.

• In case of cancellation after this deadline or no-show there is no right to any refund.

Conditions Not Refundable Rate

An advance payment of the entire amount of the stay is required on the day of booking.

You will pay the full amount of the stay if you cancel within 3 days before arrival.

Cancellation is free up to 3 days before arrival.

NoShow (no-show)

In case of no show, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

Early departures

Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to make any refunds to the guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore a penalty equal to 100% of the entire stay will be charged.

  1. Causes of force majeure

The management declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental equipment failures or other causes of force majeure. We decline all responsibility for damage caused by other guests, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and theft.
Special requests and health problems.

Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. While we will endeavor to accommodate you in all requests, as long as these are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that every request will be met. We will not be able to accept bookings in which a particular condition of fulfillment of a special request is specified. All bookings will be treated as “standard” bookings subject to the above provisions of special requests.

In case of health problems or disabilities that could affect the course of your holiday, please let us know before confirming your booking. If we reasonably believe that we cannot meet the particular needs you have indicated, we will reserve the right to decline your booking or, if this information is not received at the time of booking, it will not subsequently be taken into consideration.

Travel documents

You are responsible for all travel documents and vouchers. You will not be reimbursed if, due to travel documents not in order, you are unable to make or complete the stay and we will not be responsible for the additional costs that you may incur as a result.
