Booking Conditions & Cancellation Policy

Please read carefully the booking rules below. Each booking, after its confirmation, has contract value according to the current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for those who make the booking and for all the other subjects mentioned in the same, minors included. In these Booking Conditions the terms “you”, “your”, “your” refer to all the names indicated in the reservation (including the names added or replaced later). “We” and “ours” refer to Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza. The term “Suppliers” refers to any third party that can provide transport services, hotels or any other service directly contracted with you.

Following the request, an offer (non-binding) will be sent to you. The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication showing the total price of the stay and after the payment of the deposit, to be made within 3 days of our confirmation. If the payment is not made within the requested time, the booking is to be considered null.
The reservation becomes binding for Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza only upon receipt of a copy of the payment receipt of the deposit or credit card data on which to make the authorized withdrawal.

At this point Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza will undertake to send the customer an e-mail of confirmation or a summary voucher to show at the time of check-in.

Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the aforementioned confirmation data and to communicate any anomaly as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 4 days after receiving it. After this term, we decline any responsibility for any inaccuracies.

Upon arrival it is mandatory to present an identification document for each person.

To make changes to the reservation it is necessary to contact the reception staff, who will do everything possible to satisfy the request. However, we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of this request. If the reservation is moved to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is required to pay the difference.

Your choice not to provide your credit card at the time of booking, in the confirmation email you will be asked for a deposit to be sent by bank transfer. In the absence of one of the two guarantee conditions required, Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right not to confirm the booking.

A deposit is required (excluding tourist tax and optional services) no later than 3 days from the date of confirmation of the booking. In case of non-receipt of the deposit by the dates indicated, the reservation is void. The same goes for the balance. In case of non-payment of the balance, the reservation will be canceled.

The amount of the deposit is 30% of the amount of the stay up to 3 nights, while for longer stays 50% of the total amount. As required by the civil code in art. 1385, will not be returned in case of cancellation or non-presentation.

The balance of the reservation must be paid on arrival. Any extras must be paid before departure.

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer and credit card.

Other payment methods accepted: Cash, Bancomat, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard).

Send a copy of the bank transfer receipt by email:

, indicating the date of your booking, the telephone number and the email address, you will receive confirmation. The transfer must be made within 3 days of the booking date.


Agriturismo Tenuta Chianchizza reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the arrival of the customer by requesting a pre-authorization from the circuit to which it belongs. With pre-authorization, the hotel guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it, to ensure that the credit card is valid.
NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED. The pre-authorization expires automatically after 20 days from the requested date and the amount is released. In case of pre-authorized with negative result the customer will be notified and the reservation will be canceled. In this case, the hotel will have no obligation towards the customer.

Prepayment, “Non Refundable Rate”

If this special rate is booked, the full amount is charged to the credit card or requested by bank transfer. The entire amount is not refundable in any case. Different payment terms may apply during certain periods. Please refer to your booking confirmation.

Extension of the stay

The extension of the stay requires an additional reservation, and is subject to availability and rate changes.

Cancellation policy (individual reservations)
Any booking cancellations must be communicated in writing. For cancellation conditions please refer to your booking confirmation.

General conditions

• In case of cancellation or changes made up to 7 days before the date of arrival, no cost will be charged.

• In case of cancellation made after this deadline or no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged

Special conditions

• In case of cancellation or changes made up to 14 days before the expected date of arrival, no cost will be charged.

• In case of cancellation made after this deadline or no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged.

Conditions Non Refundable Rate

The full amount of the stay can be charged at any time after booking.

Important: in case of cancellation, changes or no-show, the full amount of the stay is charged.

NoShow (no-show)

In case of no-show, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

Early departures

No refund is due to the guest who decides to terminate the stay already undertaken and therefore a penalty equal to 100% of the entire stay will be charged.

Force majeure
The management declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental breakdowns of the equipment or other causes of force majeure. No liability is accepted for damage caused by other guests, by weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and thefts.
Special requests and health problems.

Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. Although we will make sure to satisfy you in all requests, as long as they are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that every request will be satisfied. We will not be able to accept bookings in which a special condition for fulfilling a special request is specified. All reservations will be treated as “standard” reservations subject to the above provisions of special requests.

In case of health problems or disabilities that could affect the progress of your holiday, please communicate it before confirming the booking. If we reasonably believe that we cannot meet the particular needs you have indicated, we will reserve the right to decline your booking or, if this information is not received at the time of booking, it will not be taken into consideration subsequently.

Travel documents

You are responsible for all travel documents and vouchers. You will not be reimbursed if, due to non-valid travel documents, you cannot make or complete your stay and we will not be responsible for the additional costs that you may suffer accordingly.
