Born as a small reality in the countryside of Monopoli, consisting mainly of land rented on which were planted olive trees, almond, carob and farm animals. Grandfather Carlo’s company was able to satisfy the family needs.
Starting from the 60’s, Domenico Barnaba, gave impulse to the purchase of land and farms marking the beginning of a great business venture estimated today in 400 hectares of olive groves. A tradition that is handed down from father to son, to innovate, while keeping intact the flavor of history. Today to welcome you at Tenuta Chianchizza, the warmth and warmth of the first-born of Domenico, Carlo and his wife Carmen with their sons Domenico and Francesco.
The rest of the family continues to dedicate itself to the production of extra virgin olive oil, a prevalent activity, testifying to a long tradition that is declined in the quality of the final product. All the production phases are personally followed by the brothers of Carlo, Giovanni, Vito and Marcello with loving dedication, assisted by the use of a modern continuous cycle plant to guarantee optimal organoleptic properties.
